About the Chef

Stephen Sicola

Stephen Sicola is a graduate of the Culinary Academy of Austin, where he studied Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Arts under Chef Steve Mannion and Chef Kevin Quinn. After completing his studies, Chef Stephen served as executive chef for the beautiful De La Rosa Estate wedding venue on the north shore of Lake Travis. His next venture was Sicola’s — a gourmet catering and private dining facility in Northwest Austin.

After seven years of non-stop catering, Chef Stephen hit a wall, his health in a tailspin. The fast-paced demands of running a business combined with an abundance of delicious, rich foods and award-winning wines left him overweight and suffering from several health complications. He knew it was time to reassess and to align his love for food with his childhood passion for living a healthy, active lifestyle.

After a successful path back to health and happiness, Chef Stephen has received certification from the International Sports Science Association, worked as executive chef for Daily Juice Cafe, and hosted farm-to-table cooking classes for adults and kids. Happily, he has found a way to marry his passion for food with his knowledge of fitness and nutrition, creating an overall health and wellness experience like no other.
